From The Publisher...Michelene K. Bell With the celebration of Oestre (Easter), we embrace the blessings of springtime and the renewal of living spirit. With each passing day I feel that we draw ever nearer to a new level of cosmic enlightenment. Without a doubt, the Millennium is being fearfully perceived by many as the ending of the world and indeed that perception is accurate to some degree. I personally believe we are facing the end of time as we have known it - but certainly we are not about to meet with the end of our existence on Earth. Over the years I have written at length about the cycles of life. The Millennium is but another turn in the spiral of time as we cycle within the scope of our evolution. This is not the first revolution of time to cause chaos upon Earth, bringing along with it the predictions of doomsday prophets - nor will it be the last. Constantly we are being bombarded by the media, books, newspapers and those who prognosticate our impending doom, as they see it. Although some of what is being predicted may well occur, I do believe that it is up to each and everyone of us to determine our own fate. Our beliefs, thoughts and actions will most definitely govern the outcome of our personal experiences in the New Millennium. I am convinced that we must not allow ourselves to become victims of a mass new age consciousness based on the fear of extinction. Humankind will survive. We will begin anew with an even fuller understanding of the meaning of unity with all living things as well as with the Source of all life - The All That Is. The key to our empowered and victorious continuation is our response to those inner drives that urge us to be either fear-based or love-based in our approach to daily life. Yes, we can go to the edge of insanity in the coming months and years, yet do we really need to jump into the middle of societal chaos or why not choose to soar into the knowingness of the Divine Plan of total perfection in our lives? It seems to me, dear friends, that the New Millennium is all about our choices. So please, let us all chose well. |
