What we choose to believe matters. “Believing is seeing.” Have you ever bought a new (or at least new to you) car and then seen so many more of them on the road? Did everyone also just buy your same car or is this simply a matter of where your attention is suddenly focused? It is important to choose what we notice because we project our beliefs out into the world through our emotions, attitudes, and behaviors. People feel an energy from us just as we do from them. When you meet up with a friend who is all smiles, some of that is bound to rub off on you. When there is “tension in the air,” you are sure to notice. So think about where you are placing your faith right now: fear or hope, scarcity or abundance, evil or good, problems or solutions. We are all co-creators of what happens in our homes, communities, and the world. Perhaps it’s never been more important than right now to choose faith in our ability to problem solve creatively and to come together as a nation and as planetary citizens. There is an abundance of brilliance, kindness, compassion, generosity, skill, integrity, and humor in the world. That’s what I choose to have faith in today. What about you?
